This community service activity aims to strengthen the understanding of educators and educational staff regarding *qawā'id fiqhiyyah* (Islamic legal maxims) as a foundation for character education and a preventive framework for addressing negative student behavior. The activity was motivated by the need to link normative Islamic values with character-related issues in daily educational life, ensuring that *qawā'id fiqhiyyah* are understood not merely as legal rules, but also as instruments for character development and the prevention of student delinquency. The activity employed a descriptive-participatory approach using a one-group pre-test–post-test design, involving 38 educators and staff members from the Ramadhan Madani Foundation in Candimas Village, Natar District, South Lampung Regency. Implementation included interactive material delivery, discussions, case study analysis, reflection, and the reinforcement of implementation strategies. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, questionnaires, reflections/interviews, and documentation. Evaluation results showed an increase in average comprehension accuracy from 52% in the pre-test to 76% in the post-test—a rise of 24 percentage points. Improvements were particularly evident in conceptual understanding and the ability to relate *fiqh* maxims to educational issues. Maxims such as *al-ḍarar yuzāl* (harm must be removed), *lā ḍarar wa lā ḍirār* (no inflicting harm or reciprocating harm), *al-umūr bi maqāṣidihā* (matters are judged by their intentions/objectives), and *al-'ādah muḥakkamah* (custom is a basis for judgment) can be contextualized for harm prevention, the cultivation of moral awareness, and the fostering of positive habits. However, the improved understanding cannot yet serve as evidence of changes in student behavior, as the evaluation was not conducted longitudinally. The originality of this activity lies in developing *qawā'id fiqhiyyah* as a reflective and preventive framework within character education.
